Peanut dwarfs, hydrodynamic follow-up

Following the observational identification of boxy, peanut-shaped dwarfs in Perseus (Kapoor et al. 2026), I am running hydrodynamic simulations with AREPO to characterize how tidal interactions in a cluster environment transform disky dwarf progenitors into the peanut structures we observe. The suite pairs gas-free tidal controls with full hydrodynamic runs and maps how orbital and progenitor properties shape the observable \(c_4\) signal. The campaign runs on the VSC Tier-1 Hortense allocation.
